No, this does not necessarily mean that you have OCD. When people say that they are obsessed with something like a television show, what they typically mean is that they really like it and look forward to seeing it again. They may even record it and watch it several times or go online and join a chat group about it.
In order for OCD to be involved, there has to be some type of anxiety attached to the channel. If you had to go to a wedding, you would most likely be fine and not worry about the Sci-Fi Channel, even if you forgot to record it. You might be disappointed, but that would be expected, many of us would be disappointed if we missed out on something that we really enjoy. However, if you recorded the channel every day, checked the recorder several times before leaving the house, and even came back home at lunch to be sure that the recorder was working, these might be OCD behaviors because these behaviors go beyond what we would typically see most people do. These could be compulsive behaviors all done to relieve the anxiety about missing something on the Sci-Fi Channel.
