The last words heard by by John F. Kennedy before he died were from Nellie Connally.

They were spoken seconds before shots rang out in Dealey Plaza on November 23, 1963.

Nellie Connally turned to the president and, referring to the cheering crowds lining the street, shouted:

“You can’t say Dallas doesn’t love you, Mr. President!”
