Buffalo wings aren’t really wings from bison.
They’re called “Buffalo wings” because that’s where they originally came from, Buffalo, New York.
An establishment called Frank and Teresa’s Anchor Bar, to be exact.
It’s the only culinary product from Buffalo that’s made it big worldwide.
It’s a good thing Frank and Terry didn’t invent crisped potato snacks instead, or junk food gourmets would find themselves eating out of a bag labeled “Buffalo chips.”
