The same rules applies to a bonus. If you get a yearly bonus in December and have been receiving it for several years without interruption, it may be counted as part of your income.
If you apply in November, your year-to-date income will not look as good because of the lack of the bonus income. Write a short letter showing the amount of your bonuses over the past years (as many as possible).
Get a letter from your employer stating that you have received these bonuses in the past several years and that there is no reason to believe that this situation will end in the foreseeable future.
