There is a limited selection of pre-made gluten-free breads. Keep in mind that most gluten-free breads that are packaged and sliced require refrigeration in the store and at home. Also, each company uses different flour blends in their recipes, so there is a variation in nutritional profiles of the breads as well as their texture and how well they hold together. While some breads will contain more white flours and starches to replicate traditional white bread, other companies will incorporate whole grain flours with color or more protein content that are naturally more nutrient-dense. Most pre-packaged and sliced breads found in the freezer section of your store will be more palatable after toasting. Many of the following brands can be ordered online also.
