The Bay of Fundy is located in Canada, between New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.
The bay is famous for its high tides and reversing water flow.
The tide differences are extreme, as much as 60 feet. High tide is often marked at 5 feet above either of the arms of the bay itself.
When this happens, the tide actually pushes water back up the river and up its waterfalls.
This rushing tide is referred to as a bore, but despite the name it’s fascinating to watch.
