Although it has been widely reported that saac Asimov has a book in every category of the Dewey Decimal System, it just isn’t true so.
Even librarians have been fooled.
The third edition of The New York Public Library Desk Reference states it as fact.
Asimov has a book in nine of the ten major categories of the D.D.S, all except for Philosophy/Psychology.
That, in and of itself, is quite amazing.
So is the fact that he wrote over 300 books, deliberately covering a wide base of topics.
Most can be found in Pure Sciences and Applied Sciences.
